What do you want to do.

Do you want to record the midi with other instruments?

Look at Sonar by Cakewalk or Cubase SX by Steinberg.

BUT! before you get into this you had better take
sometime and learn about midi and how it works. Also
you will most likely need some midi cables and a midi
interface, ie the midiman 2x2 by MAudio.
