Hi Giles,
Sorry to take so long getting back to you. Great that you got the kit!
Sounds like you are already ahead of me in terms of experimenting. I should
have warned you about the hi-hat cord! Chris, use the stereo cord for the
hi-hat! There, I feel better. I did exactly the same thing and spend a very
frustrating half hour trying everything until I saw the instruction buried
in the manual.

Thanks for reminding me about V1 and V2. I went back and fixed up my snare
by changing V2 to a sharper sound.

I was having the same problem on my crash that you were having on the ride
and the little screw did the trick.

I'm afraid that I haven't tried to set up any sequencer patterns so I don't
have any advise for you on that one. I'll give it a try and see if it works,
though. Hope you have solved it by now.

8 kits?! You've got more time than I do, for sure. I'm up to a whopping 3.
Added a latin percussion kit (nothing like a hi-hat triggered vibra-slap) to
play along with the new Santana (Supernatural). Really nice cd to play to.
Keeps you on your toes. Guests like Dave Matthews, Clapton, Everlast, Wyclef
Jean, Eagle Eye Cherry, etc. Great to see the old guy get his props. Anyway,
I digress.

No tips that I can think of right now. Still haven't figured out the
headphone problem but I will. Are you sending your kit through a P.A.?
Chris, what do you plan to do? I think you'll need some amplification. I
can't tell you how happy I am with my Fender KXR 100. It's a keyboard amp so
it's got all the range and punch.

Chris, I can't think of a way to send settings to a file in the computer,
but I'm thinking that Giles would be your man on this one. There is a
midi-out so it may be possible.

Anyway, I'm going to get on that sequencer now and see if I can get it to
work. I'll report back.

Later,
Rick
