Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hey fellas,

 it's been a while since I 've been here, but I still get all of your 
emails and try to help whenever possible. I've been working alot with 
Acuostic drums in the studio,and doing a lot of recording, now that I 
have some time to myself, I'm putting the finishing touches on my 
home studio, I just got the DIGI002 Protools unit from Digidesign, 
and Korg Triton LE and the DTXpress which I've had for 2 years or so 
now.  The question is How do I get the DTX into protools? do I use 
the MIDI I/O or the 1/4inch instrument out? And can I just use the 
Brain and trigger the sounds from a MIDI controller, like the oxygen 
8 midi controller? thansk for the help
