Jade, Mine sits on a stool near my hi hat, so I don't have that problem. But you should be able to mount it on your rack with a multi-clamp, as long as you have the room (maybe beside your floor tom?). Since Drumbalaya.com is now an official Kat dealer, you can tell Ed or Charlotte what rack you have and what you want to do. They'll set you up with the right hardware.
