Just a note on that PCY80S dual zone cymbal before you order one... Two came with my DS10 kit, and they're cool except for one thing Yamaha doesn't tell you. The rim does not respond to velocity. It's an all or nothing on/off switch. Kind of a bummer. But don't take my word for it...maybe you can check with your buddy at Yamaha. I'd love to find out that I'm dead wrong. ========================================================================= pete Hot Java, Cool Tunes: Visit Café Pierre www.geocities.com/SoHo/Cafe/4024/ > ========================================================================= > > pete > > Hot Java, Cool Tunes: Visit Café Pierre www.geocities.com/SoHo/Cafe/4024/ > >> From: "Brow, Paul [LTS]" <p.brow@lmu.ac.uk> >> Reply-To: DTXpress@onelist.com >> Date: Wed, 8 Mar 2000 09:13:28 -0000 >> To: "'DTXpress@onelist.com'" <DTXpress@onelist.com> >> Cc: "'sales@...'" <sales@...> >> Subject: [DTXpress] DTXpress - accessories >> >> They have a number of accessories on order so I'll try them when I'm ready >> for >> 'stereo pads' e.g. the PCY80S cymbal and one for the snare (no stock though >> at >> present).
