Hi Andreas, I've had a CY-6 for almost a year. It's a stereo cymbal (rim and bow). As such, it will not work in 9/10 either via stereo cable or a TRS splitter. But it should defintitely provide two voices in input 7, or any other stereo input, with a stereo cable. Its repsonse differs slightly from that of the Yam. stereo cymbals. Roland's owner's manual recommends that the bow be played with the tip of the stick and the rim with the shank, or shoulder, staying fairly close to the center in each case. I've had no trouble with mine. If you continue to have problems with yours, I'll send you my settings. By the way, you'll notice that several days ago I posted that mine was for sale, but not because I'm not satisfied with it. I experiment with cymbals quite a bit.
