Darren: Next time, do a Factory Reset on the brain before you test. This will insure you haven't gotten some really rotten setup someone have created. Also, bring along a set of headphones that you are famaliar with and that have good dynamic range and frequency response. Some closed-cup monitoring phones would be best. Then follow these steps to reset the DTXpressII: press UTIL button until you see "SYSTEM GROUP" in the display press pgup/pgdn till u see "Factory Set" in the display press save/ent button, and the screen will read: "All data will be lost! are u sure?" Press save/ent button. *Now* test the set! :) Vern PS: U might want to make sure you do this on a DTXPRESS module that the store hasn't gotten some fancy demo or kit loads on. You don't want to get thrown out of the store! ;) -- Vern Graner CNE/CNA/SSE | "If the network is down, then you're Senior Systems Engineer | obviously incompetent so why are we Texas Information Services | paying you?
