Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

ED and Walt,
I feel like such an a**hole!!!  After I heard the
cymbal voice, and sent off the email because I was so
excited....I looked at the KITI and realized that I
had plugged the cymbal back INTO the DTX, the cord I
was looking at thinking it was in a trigger outlet was
actually my midi cable that I moved to the far MIDI
OUT channel!!  I COULDN'T BELIEVE I DID SOMETHING SO
FRIGGEN STUPID!!!!
We are back to square 1...NO PROGRESS MADE....and I
feel like a foolish IDIOT!!!!  
I found this when I went to plug in my other pad to
get a tom sound, and I remember plugging the stupid
cymbal back in in the wee hours this morning...HOW
could I be so STUPID!!!
Guys, please bear with me, I worked on this thing
until early this a.m., I am exhausted, and my brain is
FRIED on this Kiti thing.  I apologize for any
enthusiasm I created....the sounds I am getting are
still the same old truck-honking sounds!
Guess that's what happens when you get anxious to make
things work...you overlook the small, but obvious
details.
Hope you will accept my apologies on creating a false
hope...this DTX module is still not working with the
"other external midi device"
