Hey eblanch! I too asked this question before I bought my kit and it seems to be possible even though right now I'm still experiminting with making the sound. First of all I'm using the acoustic kick sound called MapleA20 (or K/19). I layered the voice to get it even deeper and made the rate of decay shorter. I was going for a subwoofer sound kinda, like Korn uses sometimes. Its a deep sound but I think maybe I can find a better sound somewhere within the kicks or deep toms, try it out and let me know what you find! -UN.H --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "ebla442" <eblanch@c...> wrote: > I'm really new to the dtxpressII and all e-drums in general, but I > was wondering if anyone has a sysex bank containg, or a way of > creating, one of those super low bass drop sounds for the dtxpress. > I've been trying to make my own from the sounds on the kit and have > been running into problems.
