Another reason I must keep my kit to a manageable size is the fact 
that my riser is 4' X 4' and I'm edge-to-edge now as it is.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
