Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hey,
When I first got my kit, almost three years ago, I didn't know they 
made the cymbal stabilizer, but I could see a need for it. I made my 
own. It involves a bolt coupler nut, a couple of set screws, drilling 
two holes, a three-inch length of rod. 
One hole accepts the little rod that stabilizes the cymbal. It is held 
in place with a set screw. The other hole fits on the cymbal stand and 
is tightened by the other set screw. See pics posted in my file.
When I bought my PCY 80S, It came with one. It is a little simpler in 
design. But it works too!
I don't know why the cymbals don't all come with them. They sure need 
them!!!
