Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I verified this weekend that the cymbals only choked on zones 2,6,7 
and then emailed yamaha support. Here is the response I got:

Hi Rob,

I have verified your findings and I will check with the product 
manager to see if it was intentional for the choke function to work 
only on inputs 2, 6 and 7.

I will let you know as soon as I get an answer.
