Cross Talk/Double Triggers From PM-16

2003-05-03 by underneathheaven

At the moment I'm using a PM-16 to add additonal pads to my setup.
Obviously this means I have some pads connected to my module and
some pads connected to my PM-16 all mixed up around the kit. If I
remember correctly there is nothing that can be done for cross talk
or double triggers when using two different sources for triggers
right? Here is my problem: When I hit my second tom (which is
connected to my module) I get a slight and quiet sound from my crash
cymbal (which is connected to my PM-16.) I can't recall, but theres
hardly anything you can do for this besides get seperate arms or
seperate the pads right? And just for good measure, let me go over
some definations.

Double Triggers occur when one pad is hit but another pad makes a
sound as well correct? Which would be my current problem with two
different trigger sources.

Cross Talk occurs when you hit your hi-hat and snare and the hi-hat
doesn't make a sound right?

Thanks for the lesson,
