The BP80 was the first 'toy' I added, and it really broadens the DTX. 
I then switched out the Yamaha pads for the Pintech ConcertCast pads, 
knowing that I would have to either give up one of BP pads or the 
rimshot. I chose to use the BP80 as a single trigger pad.
However, that didn't last long. I now run two DTXs.

If that's not an option for you and you want to use both the of the 
BP80 and a Pintech snare, you could sacrifice the rim shot and layer 
the snare sound with a rimshot. You could then program the snare to 
only give you the rim shot at a maximum velocity hit using the X 
feature.
