Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi 

I bought my Dtxpress one week ago, and at the same time I bought a 
used Roland pd-120 pad (Dual piezo) to use as a snare drum. I have 
been toying around with the trigger settings for the last week, but I 
am far from satisfied with the results. To get ghost notes on the 
snare, gain has to be set quite high (85+). When it is, I have to hit 
the rim trigger quite hard to get a sound. If I set the gain on the 
rim trigger high as well, I get the mother of all double triggers. 
Can anyone with a dual piezo pad in input 9/10 please recomend any 
good trigger settings (gain, velocity, rejection, pad-type etc.....)
