Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi,
I've noticed this happening now and then as well with certain sounds. It's
probably your voice settings. I just find a pad that the sound works well on
and copy the settings over to the hi-hat pad on the kit you are setting up.
You can either do this manually or use the copy function. This should do it.
