Only a  month in, so hardly a long-term test, but my impressions 
remain: feel better in-play (so they do cut down some vibration) but 
not yet convinced they actually cut down the vibrations that do the 
damage.

Just the two problems with the logic, Ed. First, I suspect it would 
be you needing to give me lessons. Second, much as I love where I 
live, even I would struggle to apply most meanings of the 
adjective "exotic".

Some damn good drummers in the Caribbean, mind. Now there's a 
thought. Any seasoned sailors in here? Fill a suitable vessel with a 
variety of percussion instruments, a goodly supply of fermented 
lubricant, and hit the high seas.
