I think the problem is that the "Moderator" has left the building and did not leave a forwarding address and Yahoo won't let anybody else take over the group. The only solution then is to start a new group with a new Moderator, unless you know someway to get past the Yahoo bureacracy, that will allow the assignment of a New Moderator.
