As promised, here's how I mounted my kick pedal and tower to a piece of
masonite. When I gig I carry a spare pedal (experience taught me this), so I
needed a way to disconnect the tower in a hurry if necessary, hence the
velcro under the tower. The felt pads, meant for sticking to the bottom of
kitchen chair legs, work well with the spurs. Simple but effective.

Once the tower is off I can mount it to my other pedal the conventional way
to finish the set.
