Re: [DTXpress] E-Drum Amplification

Drew ,

I don't think you will find something compatible with the quality of your drums, looking for a low budget amplifier.

I use mine with a Crate KX15 (keyboard Amp) - although it has a equalizer and the general sound I would say it is good when used with my electroacustic guitar, it is frustrating when used with my drums.

My headphones are Audio-Technica ATHM40FS, which are pretty damn good. The drums sound awsome on that, and even when I record something with my TASCAM 424 MKIII, the sound is pretty good.

I am not giging in the moment, but in an event of that I will have to go into something better for my drums amplification - better means more money . I would go with the Roland TDA700 - little pricy but already heard a guy using that and it was pretty cool.

Hope it would help,

Sheico
