Re: [DTXpress] Hart Accusnare & Dtxpress

2000-11-17 by Mark Schiffelbein

I also purchased a Hart Accusnare for my dtx kit - it definitely was the
best thing that I have done. I used the extra pad for a second floor tom
(added some new pipes and fittings to extend out the right side of the
rack).

Are you using a stereo cable (tip, ring & sleeve) ? I can program a
second sound (usually a rim shot) and it works most of the time using
the standard "snare" input.. You do have to hit the rim pretty hard to
trigger - make sure the trigger sensor is positioned where you hit the
rim. You can see the device attached to the inside wall of the drum.. To
make the Accusnare really work right, you would probably have to run it
into inputs 9 & 10 but I didn't want to use up the extra inputs.
