I am a new drummer and new user of the Dtxpress and the problem appears to be my inability to read instruction manuals properly ( typical man as my ex wife would probably comment).I am a bit of a technophobe I'm afraid. I apparently used a mono cable to connect the snare drum to the PCU, instead of a stereo cable, therefore not allowing it to recieve the output from the multi zone pad. I have now changed cables and this has cleared the problem up. I have never noticed my mistake till now because my playing has been basic to saythe least. I am geting more adventurous with my repertoire of late and have now discovered the importance of reading manuals!!!
