I'm reinstalling what I think is the latest drivers from Yamaha site. Funny that when I installed the other CBX driver, there was just a Win 95/98 option. I did change what I could in compatibility...? Anyway this new driver at the site is listed for Win XP, so I'll try that! Thanks for confirming TO HOST is a midi in/out! The manual (in a couple/few) places say something that throw me off about this HOST port! As for Cubase...I think I hope it set right!...???? I'll Ck again for the up-teenth time. If I can transmit into Cubase through this HOST cable, I think it would receive as well. Reading manuals & experimenting all this weekend!!!["sigh"] It's said this HOST is not used by many...I Think I now know why ["humrph"]
