Or even a pre-release sample of the PCY150? Giving us information to disseminate would only help everyone. Giving us a PCY150 wouldn't hurt either, but I doubt whether we'd get one in advance. It's worth a try, though. I've asked Dave whether someone at Yamaha would like the opportunity to field some questions at Chris' site. If Dave's amenable, I'll probe a little more into Yamaha establishing a relationship strictly with us. Regardless of edrumming.com, I was thinking that we arrange our own chat every once in a while with Martin Arroyo, or someone with his expertise, so that people could ask technical questions. What we'd have to do, in order to protect ourselves from embarrassment and the Yamaha rep. from dead spots, is to collect questions beforehand to make sure that the time is well spent. The other side is that he could offer MIDI tips of his own and discuss them. I realize that a plan like this puts heavy pressure on individual participation, which, judging from our latest polls and pleas for a head count, may not prove fruitful. Ed
