Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi All,

If I record for example 4 measures using 'funk' kit & want to overlay 
some percussion using say 'latin' kit, how do I keep the voices I've 
recorded? - When I play the song back the latin kit voices appear to 
have changed to the funk kit. I've looked in Song edit 
mode 'programme change/bank select' instructions but they don't make 
sense to me!

This is probably a simple function but this is first time I've tried 
recording.
