Hi Russell,

Talk about leading a double life. I went from keeping up with a half of
dozen edrums sites to half of dozen edrums sites + a dozen DR sites. I was
planning on setting up a shooting box (white sides/white bottom) and
re-taking the pics of the individual components of the Dtxpress in the
coming weeks to update the photos I took last year using my old Canon pro70.
I have also shifted the arrangement of my kit, so I need to take some new
pics of it as well.

I have a ton of questions on the DR but I am trying to work through them
with the "search-engine" at the various sites. Some of the photo sites seem
to be pretty aggressive against repeat newbie questions.

I was going to post at the digi-darkroom to let you know about all the new
and exciting drum things coming out, but since your here now, if you haven't
been keeping up, go to the drumbalya site to see the new Yamaha stuff coming
out. They are really awesome, I was just planning on a DTxpress III module
and some new cymbals but after seeing the Dtxtreme IIS, it going to be a
tough decision. At least I have a few months before I have to make that
decision though.

By the way congratulations on the your new Digital Rebel, you really had a
long wait for it. I was lucky and saw a newspaper ad from Ritz, called them
and had it the next day. Would have had it that same day but I called at 1
minute before the store closed, so I had to wait until after work the next
day to go by a get it. I got the two lens sigma set they had on sale with
it. Have added the battery grip, 550EX flash, 4 batt., 4 CF cards. Still
looking for the RC-1 and a better long lens.

The way I found the DD was by going back through all the posts here and
seeing your offer to move the dtxpress site over to there, when were having
spam problems here. Saw the familiar RPB1966 and figured it was you.
