Re points 1 to 3, I've wondered much of this myself. Wouldn't it be nice if the manual were half-decent, and explained some of this stuff? Hope you get some answers. As to point 4, what's it like through headphones? I assume that your amp is stereo output. Dumb question, maybe, but mine isn't.
