Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

How well do the pads Roland PD-7 and PD-9 work with a DTXPRESS 1
module? I am looking for a replacement pad for my TP80s (busted rim
switch). 

The PD-7 and PD-9 show up quite frequently on ebay and it
would be an easy choice if it worked well. Give me your opinions
and/or personal experiences with the Roland pads and the Yamaha
Module.

IN ADDITION,
Are the pads STEREO PADS or DUAL ZONE Pads?
Many ebay listings have it as DUAL ZONE but its possible that the
sellers may have mixed up the terminology.
