The ConcertCast snare is a true dual zone, one zone of which (snare) you could plug into input 2, and the other (rim) into 9/10, leaving you one mono input free (10). I posted a review of the triggering system that Pintech currently uses on all its single and dual-zone drums; a slightly more elaborate version appears on the Yahoo Pintech forum (and maybe Pintech's own site somewhere by now). It discusses the triggers from the inside out. It isn't terribly complicated, but it should make clear how a dual-zone pad, vs a rubber Yamaha/Pintech/ Roland stereo one, is constructed. Ed Ed
