Any way of using kit as a MIDI keyboard?

Hi 
Is there any way i can make the DTXPRESSII act like a midi keyboard 
as i have a Roland MC307 Rhythmtracker and would like to use the 
pads as "keyboard keys" to play back sfx.

Any ideas?
