Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I read somewhere else that a member of this group was developing a 
SYSEX editor for the dtxpress II and wondered if there had been any 
progress on this?

I searched the archive for "sysex" but didn't find anything useful 
or relevant.

Alternately, does anyone have the full specification for the 
dtxpress II sysex format (as I am a programmer and may consider 
writing my own).
