thanks Ed, I did look on Thomann's but missed that - I'll see what happens when they come. We live in a strange dual mm/inches world in the UK - it's just over 25mm to the inch so I guess the plugs will be 1/4" (it's just that we're not supposed to use inches anymore... sheesh). 20 years ago I had an invite from a US band touring here to go back with them - guess I should have taken them up on it... if only to get these darn leads! :-) William --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "emf" <liberatusvirus@y...> wrote: > --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "William Sutherland" <ws@l...> wrote: > > It's been really interesting going back through the archives - but > I > > can't see any mention of a UK source of the much discussed y > > splitters (although at least now I understand what I'm looking for!) > > > > Same for a general internet search... > > > > However I did come across this site if anyone else is having the > > same problem - it seems to be a Yamaha keyboard club, but the nice > > lady who answers the 'phone took the order and noted down the name > > of my 'keyboard' :-) > > > > http://www.yamaha-club.co.uk/access_05.html > > > > I've ordered a 'BCK-2JSJ' which sounds like it might work, we'll > see > > when it comes. > > > > Failing that anyone know where I might find the real thing? > > > > William, > > The one at your link is the right idea, but I'm not sure from the > description that the plugs are 1/4" phonos (I don't speak mm very > well).
