Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I am thinking about getting a dtx 2 or 3 depending on my budget. I would like to get a 
double bass pedal, any recommendations or restrictions on whats available? Pro's, cons? I 
want be as knowedgable as possible before making this purchase, so far with the dtx I like 
what i see. 

Also, are there any really strong points why I should get a dtx3special over a dtx3, or a 
dtx3 over the dtx2 for that matter?

Any feedback really helps, I am drooling over this thing. Living in a ny apartment doesnt 
afford me the luxuries of my old home. 

I have read a lot on this forum lately and think its a great resource.
