Thanks OGD. - Just to add that, I am running a DTXP III module. In the meantime I purchased a PCY-150 and I found a setting which works perfectly. Actually I previously made a mistake as I overlooked the pad type setting for the PCY-150 which is actually PCY1 not PCY3 as the "normal" cymbal pads would require. 1 - kick (KP65) 2 - snare (TP65S) 3 - tom 1 (TP65) 4 - tom 2 (TP65) 5 - Crash 2 (PCY65S) 6 - ride (PCY150S) 7 - crash 1 (PCY65S) 8 - hihat (TP65) 9/10 - Tom 3 (TP65) All cymbals are chokeable as you rightly mentioned that the DTXP III module offers that feature for all the 1-8 inputs. The PCY-150S therefore has a 3-zone capability: Cup, pad, edge.
