Is it possible to add a y-adaptor to inputs 1-8 and add two pads instead of one? Cause, if a person could do this, that would make it possible to add more pads. Thanks, Nathan

Yup... I added a y-adapter myself and have quite a few more pads attached to mine. All I need now is more pads!! I Refer to my recent reply explaining how to make your own acoustic drum
triggers.
This system also works for making your own pads.
Cut out a circle of MDF and attach a piece of rubber to it using a suitable
adhesive.
Cut a recess in the centre of the MDF and fix in a crystal microphone
insert, these are
available from Maplin in the UK and I guess Tandy (Radio Shack) in the
States. Connect
the mic insert to a 1/4" jack plug using a piece of screened cable.
plug the lead into the DTXpress
socket of your choice, or Y it off of another pad socket. Strike the pad
and it will sound the voice
assigned to the socket. Fine tune the triggering to suit, and
assign an appropriate voice to your new pad.
These home made pads will never have the feel of the excellent DTXpress
pads, so it is best to assign them
as crash cymbals or other assignments where feel is of less importance. I
feel that the DTXpress set up cries out
for a third cymbal pad, and the home made pad is great for this
application. This system also works for the Roland
SPD20, however I feel that the DTXpress triggering in general is far more
advanced than that of the SPD20's so the
home made pads seem to work better for the DTXpress. You will need to mount
the pad, just drill a hole in one side
of the pad and mount it on a standard cymbal stand.
