Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I've searched the archives but could not come up with much.

1- Does anyone have a online source to buy a PC cable for DTXPRESS to
PC using the host connection, (I think it's an 8pin din from the
Dtxpress?) either serial and or usb?  My laptop has both and all I
really want to do for the time being is save my settings.

2- Can the MIDI out goto a serial/usb or do I need to RTFM some more?

You can get the Midiman USB Midisport 2x2 or, say, a Yamaha UX16 
USB/MIDI connection at almost any online music store, like Musicians 
Friend,zzounds, Sam Ash, SameDayMusic, etc. Why bother with To Host 
when MIDI is accessible?
