Going for yet another Yamaha product

Going for yet another Yamaha product

2004-12-07 by Brett

Earlier on I posted about adding some Pintech pads to my kit, but I
ultimately decided upon getting a new DTXtreme II instead. I've put
my kit up for sale on ebay (2 DTXpress II kits combinded together) to
help make room for my new kit in a limited space, and to help fund
such an expensive hobby. Thanks to everyone that adding there own 2
cents on the best upgrades for the DTXpress. I'll be moving back to
the east coast in a few days, so I may not talk to anyone again for a
little while. If I don't make it back on before the holidays, I wish
everyone the best.

Thanks Brett and back to you. Congratulations on two fronts--buying
the DTXtremeIIS and moving back to the east coast (grin).

We who live on the East coast salute you. If you are settling anywhere
near Baltimore, let me know- I want to try those strangely flacid
rubber pads on the extreme. I will cheerfully store your old drum
stuff for you to ease the pain of the move.

Let me know- Timonium is just round the beltway. I like cold beverages
and by the time you get here you won't need a refridgerator to keep em
cold.

Well, my good man, you may be in luck. As luck would have it, I will be moving into the Baltimore area. The Timonium area to be precise! Hmmm. A fellow drummer, a new drum kit, and a stocked fridge full of ice cold beverages. This could be interesting to finally meet up with one of our members.

I certainly can't think of anything that your spouse, let alone
anyone else's, would like better than 1,200 drummers invading the
livingroom--quite a few of them needing accommodations for an
indefinite period to even consider making the trip. Let us know
whether it would be too much of an impostion, or whether we should
bring something.
