Using the DTXpress kit with Software - BFD & DFHS

Hi, Anyone else here doing this? Or thinking about doing this? I've been researching and talking to others in my Cubase.net forum about the use of my expanded DTXpress kit with a drum software. After looking at 'several' programs suggested my some members, I've narrowed it down to two programs that seem to fit my needs for using my DTXpress and a software for my Cubase VST 32 recordings...BFD by FXpansion and DFHS by ToonTrack. Both are said to be at least partially geard for use with an e-kit. At this time I'm leaning toward BFD more than DFHS for it's interface. Some say DFHS has better drum samples though many who have both applications say that they end up using BFD because of the interface. BFD has a virtual drum room that you can visually move mic's around the room. DFHS has this 'matrix' grid that doesn't seems to settle with me. Both programs have multi-mic sampled drum sounds, I think like 11 mic's for each sample, including all room mics as well as mic bleeding from other drums that any, all or none can be chosen. Both programs are 'Stand-Alone' and the samples can be played in 'real-time' as well as recording the drums 1st with midi and have the high quality samples play back instead of the Yamaha sounds. I don't know about DFHS, but I'm told by Angus at FXpansion that BFD is in Beta for expanding and actually 'doubling' it's current capability of utilizing more trigger pads with it's free 1.5 update/realease. Users will soon be able to use multiple Hi-Hats, 6 cymbals, etc...It curently can do two single trigger kicks. I believe that multiple trigger-modules can be used as well. This is good to know as I'm continuing to expand my DTXpress with more modules and more trigger pads. Soon hopefully I'll have the best samples available. I've been looking for a solution to expand my drum sample capabilities for my computer DAW recording needs for a while. Combining an e-kit with these drum software's seems to be it among DAW users.
