Amps.

Amps.

2005-03-14 by lazz110

Greetings from Alabama. I am in the process of buying a 2nd amp so
that I can get the stereo sounds from my DTX III. At this time I am
playing with 1 Berringer kx1200. It has a good sound but man is it
heavy! I am checking out a Johnson Ja-150-k bass/keyboard amp. I
haven't seen 1 or heard 1. So does anyone have any experiance with
this unit ? I would appericate any Info. I do like the price.
150watts $200 dollars. Keep banging, Thanks Y'all Lazz

Lazz,

First of all, for what it's worth, the Johnson is 100 watts not 150.
Second, although I have absolutely no experience with it, it
frightens me a little. It's so inexpensive that I wonder if it will
be able to handle e-drums with the volume at a satisfactory level
without distorting. A lot may depend on how you intend to use it and
what kind of space you want to fill. If you get a 30-day return, you
could just try it and find out, I guess.
