Thanks for your help. I solved my guitar center fiasco. I called the main customer service, and they helped me. I was sold a used dtxpress 1 and was told that it was a recently bought but returned dtx2. Luckily, my suspicions were there, and I had to make multiple phone calls etc and make use of this message board to confirm that I was duped. (thanks ED for the nice description of the different dtxpress' (1,2 and 3). So, I returned the used set that didnt totally work and bought a new dtx3 with a 10% discount due to the fiasco. Total cost $899 vs $750 for the used system ($650 for drums plus $100 for warranty). My set works great, but two of the drums appear to have vibration. I have to figure out how to eliminate it..manual doesnt have vibration in trouble shooting. Anyway, as I and my kids learn more about the system, hopefully we can contribute to this message board. I want to learn how to use my laptop with the system. Next item to buy is headphones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
