Question:
Are you using any type of MIDI sequencer program on your computer?

If you are:
Set the sequencer program to external MIDI clock.
Hit record.
Press play on the DTXpress. (The DTXpress will have to be set to send MIDI
clock.

Easy - peasy

Subject: [DTXpress] Simple Newbie Midi Question :)

Hello,
I have a DTXPress 3 and would like to send some tracks I recorded as Midi
files to my computer so I can edit them / change drum sounds / send them to
friends...
I bought a Midi cable connected to the midi port of my Sound Blaster Audigy
2ZS. I can export songs to the computer in sysex format, but then I didn't
figure out how to convert these songs into real Midi files... Any help would
be appreciated ! I successfully imported / exported drum kits, it's quite
cool already.
Thanks in advance,
David

Thank you very much, it worked ! I didn t realize i could just play my song to record it into cubase... now I have to figure out how to hear my midi file

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
