Introducing myself here and asking a question. Name is Jamie, I'm 35 years old, play guitar and am starting to get into drums. Getting dtxpress III for Christmas. The kit is sitting in boxes in the basement taunting me! Anyhow, I'm wondering about upgrading the snare drum to a TP100 or TP120SD. It looks like I can mount both right on the rack (since related products at dtxperience.com shows a "tom holder" as an accessory for these.) Am I correct here? Is the TP100 usable on the DTXPress III as a snare? Is the 120SD a better snare? Is it even worth the upgrade over the standard snare that comes with the DTXpress III? If I do upgrade the snare, can I use the 3 zone snare that comes with the DTXpress III as the ride or crash or something, as an upgrade to the dual zone cymbals that come with it? It seems the module will take 3 zones in on the ride or crash inputs (inputs 6 and 7.) I might just use it as Tom3 instead... but just wondering. Sorry for all the questions. I look forward to the answers and hope to contribute to this group in the future when I get more experience.
