Using the DTXPRESS III with fruity loops

I had just aquired a new Yamaha DTXPRESS III to be nice to the neighbors, cause these Florida homes are built on top of eachother. I had discovered MIDI and just purchased a midi cable . I was wondering is there a way to assign the sounds on the Fruity loops to assorted triggers on the DTX ? and how would I go about that ?
