Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi,

my pcy65s cymbal pad is "auto choking", so the sound that it produces
is only a short "tsj" and that's it....
I tried another cable and plug it into another connection....nothing.

I guess it's kaputt, is there anything I can do about it?

If you don't need the choking feature you could use a mono cable. 
However, it is possible there is a loose conenction so you could take
it apart and look.  There are pictures of all the pads in bits in the
photos section.
