Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi,I,m new to the list and have a question.
I've recently acquired a DTXpress kit.I'm no drummer, but I find it 
really useful as an alternate way of writing.
I use an Ensoniq MR keyboard and write using its on board sequencer.
I've spent too many years writing with computer sequencers and I 
don't want to stare at a screen ever again!
The Ensoniq sequencer exclusively uses Midi channel 10 for its own 
rythym machine.What this means is that if I want to play the DTX into 
the sequencer, I need the module to be able to send and receive drum 
information on a channel other than Midi Channel 10.
From what I've gleamed from Yamaha UK, it won't do it! I realise 
there is a fix for sending the pad triggers out on any midi channel, 
but it seems that the module will not receive and play its kits on 
any channel other than channel 10.

I might even have to resort to a computer to re-channelize the dtx 
input and output - seems a bit of a bodge.

Anybody met this? - by the way does the DTXpressions site exist any 
more? - I can't display
