Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi

my first post here, so a big hello to everyone, and im hoping you can 
help me.

I own a DTXpress III and am very happy with it, i link it up to my PC 
and use BFD for practice and recording with sonar. I am into my speed 
drumming and ive been speeding up my double kick for a while, and i 
want to see how fast i really am. I know i can use a meternome, but 
that doesn't actually counts the individual hits, as i know i miss 
some over time. What im looking for is a piece of software that can 
count midi hits on my PC over a time frame. In other words i am 
looking for a software version of the drumometer. Any suggestions 
would be a massive help as i have got nowhere with my searching.
