Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I'll be getting a DTXpress III soon, but I have a question about the 
dual-zone cymbal trigger.  Is the edge velocity sensitive like the 
main body is?  My concern is that if I set up a second sound on the 
edge trigger, it will only be one level.
