I used the PCY65S for the hihat pad for nearly two years without any problems. Most of the PCY10's I had are gone. I still have two that I continue to use as small splash cymbals. ________________________________

Based on your replies to my other post and this one, I'm now thinking that the PCY65S might be the way to go for the hihat rather than a Roland CY-5. Is the edge durable enough to withstand lots of shoulder-of- the-stick hits? Also, I started looking for a PCY-10 to eventually add to the ride "cymbal", but came up with nil.
