Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi all, 

I have recently bought a PA power amp for my kit and am wondering 
what is the best configuration of speakers to get for a good drum 
kit sound, ie deep bass for bass drum and floor toms but also want 
the crispness and treble for the cymbals - and dont want the treble 
to get 'lost' in the bass 

my amp has the capablitiy to attach a subwoofer and has  onboard 
crossover setting adjustments

so what would be the best configuration of passive speakers -

(A) x2 identical speaker cabs, with 15" and horn - have been offered 
a pair of db opera 405's

or

(B) x1 subwoofer cab (either 15" or 18") and x1 top cab with a 12" 
and horn

any advice / opinions gratefully received
