Loop Sounds - turning on and off

Loop Sounds - turning on and off

2006-09-02 by grantipoo

Could someone tell me - when I assign a loop to the pad, it keeps on
playing - how do I start it with a stick stroke and stop it with
another stroke on the pad ?
The manual is not very clear about how to do this ...
Thanks
Grant

Grant,

The best way to work this out is to look at the settings of a
kit/voice that does what you want - try kit 30 of the DTXpress III,
tom3. It seems to be the pad playback mode - section 2-7, page 21 of
the reference manual (for the DTXpress III). Setting song playback
mode to "play" says it should start & stop when the pad is hit.

pad song.

identify which one(s) that I need to change to get the loop to start
and stop on a pad.

The manual is a bit of a shocker as far as step 1 ,2 3 goes .

Grant,

Sorry, my experience of midi is virtually zero - I tried it once to
copy some kits over and it worked - that's it.

Keith.
